  • Do you provide free estimates?

Yes, our estimates are free. To get started with our skilled arborists, give us a call today.

  • Do I need to be home for our scheduled free estimate?

Yes, our arborists prefer to meet with the homeowners directly. As no two properties are alike, we want your trees to be exactly as expected. This way, we can provide excellent service to all of our customers.

  • Do you treat trees for the emerald ash borer and other pests and diseases?

Yes, we treat trees for many different pests and fungal infections. To learn more about which diseases and pests our arborists can help with, give us a call today at (816) 441-5003.

  • Why is my oak tree lime green in color?

This is most likely a condition in the tree called chlorosis, which is caused by a lack of iron and manganese. This is a condition that our skilled arborists can easily treat.

  • Can you speed up or slow down the growth of a tree?

Yes. Depending on your needs, our arborists have products that both speed up or slow down the growth of your tree. To learn more about these products, give us a call today at (816) 441-5003.

  • How often should I trim my trees?

Typically, we recommend having a tree arborist trim your trees every three to six years. This also depends on the tree species.

  • When is the best time to trim oak trees?

In our area, November to February is the most optimal time to trim oak trees. However, depending on the weather, our arborists can trim oak trees in October and March while they are dormant. This will cause no harm to the tree.

  • Is it okay to top a tree?

For most species, topping a tree is not recommended. Some pear tree varieties are exceptions to this, but our arborists generally try to avoid topping trees.

  • Am I allowed to trim my neighbor's tree that is hanging over my property line?

Yes, you are. In the states of Missouri and Kansas, you are allowed to trim your neighbors' trees that are hanging over your property line. Our arborists are able to trim their trees all the way back to your own property line.

  • Do I need to water my trees during a drought?

Yes, watering your trees during a drought is very important. However, how much watering is needed depends on the size and species of the tree. For more information on this, please call and ask one of our arborists at (816) 441-5003.
